G4e Concept Car Preview 10/10/2007 Subaru Today Subaru provided a sneak preview of the G4e concept car, which will be displayed along with the more mature R1e design at the upcoming 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. Details are still a bit sketchy, but the G4e has the largest wheelbase in it's class and you can see it is an attractive four door hatchback design. It also features air conditioning and a super-cool dash. The motor is rated at 65kW and it is powered by a 346V battery pack.

Also, today, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announced that the Japan Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport has certified prototype plug-in hybrid vehicles for use of similar testing on Japan public roads.
